Monitor - Talmia Control Centre Reports
For ALM implementation to truly resolve process enforcement issues, it must be supported by effective reporting.
Talmia's Control Centre not only allows processes to be published and deployed, it also enables comprehensive process reporting. This advanced reporting capability provides real-time overviews and insights into the project processes you specify.
A key difference over reports generated by Team System is that Talmia reports are from a process - not an individual task - perspective. This enables reporting to be customised according to your needs and priorities. Typical questions that Talmia reporting can address include:
- How many processes are currently active on a project?
- How far is the project through each phase? (design, construction, testing, etc.)
- For each individual process:
- how is work progressing?
- which work items affect the process and what is their current status?
- is any work overdue?
- who completed each process step and when?
- how much rework has occurred and why?
Importantly, Talmia provides progress visibility irrespective of individual team member location. This acts as a powerful enabler for distributed or virtual teams, i.e. Talmia supports comprehensive visibility into process compliance regardless of team style or location.
Talmia reports are hierarchical and designed for practical use. Project managers can, for example, routinely refer to overview reports yet drill down into individual process - or even individual tasks - if necessary. This facility offers a proactive approach to risk identification and resolution based on reliable real-time performance metrics.

Notes
Two standard visual report options are available. The first displays the status of an individual process - allowing current progress, errors, and rework to be assessed at a glance. The second is a graphical aggregation that shows overall progress on processes of a specified type, e.g. all requirements work.
